Super 77 & Epoxy on metal

I will soon be overlaying a portion of my car in carbon fiber. I know that super 77 spray glue works ok for overlaying on some interior parts, just wasn’t sure if it would work in my case. I’m worried with the overlay being on the exterior that spray glue may cause issues. I would just lay epoxy, and then the carbon fiber, and then epoxy over that but the c/f is 19.7oz (all i could get) and am afraid it will be difficult to work with being on such a large scale. I plan on sanding and prepping my surface just as normal but wonder if the spraying it with the glue would keep the carbon fiber from bonding with the surface, if the resin would wet out that thick of c/f enough to even get to the surface underneath for a bond, and when it gets that far that if the spray glue would cause the epoxy to cure correctly or even lift over time… I know im rambling, sorry  Any help would idea’s would be great, thanks again guys

I have tried epoxy on 3m, on interior parts, and it hold down decent. Most of the time i use poly on interior overlay and i use the 3m 90 to hold it down. It eats the 3m up if i put the first layer too thick. So on my first layer i usually use a foam brush and jsut brush a thin layer then let it sit till it tacks up good. That when i add more layers. With the epoxy i did the same method thin layer first then thicker layers. Hope this helps. or you can try just epoxy over your parts, let it tack up then lay the cf over it, that will probbaly be the better way since your using 19oz cf.
