Removing clay from mold

Ok so it looks like the person at the stationary store didnt have a clue what they were talking about because they told me the clay I bought was oil based (didnt say on packet so I had to ask) and now that I have made my mold the stupid clay has dried up and is becoming hard to remove.

Anyone have any tips on how to remove the dried on stuff now? The clay has dried completely and is stuck to both the plug and mold, I can go at it was something like a small screwdriver but I think not only will I do a crap job at it but will also wreck the mold

you would be quicker to start again :frowning: i doubt you will ever get it all off and retain the shape of the mold.

OK some good news!

It appears that being water based I was able to use a damp cloth and “rub” it away. It just seems to disolve as I rub it so I guess it should be ok, although it is taking an awefully long time!!

cool  get a pressure washer, jet wash on it  then go and kick the store persons ass!
