How much resin do I need

Hi
i am trying to calculate the amount of resin i need. I am using vacuum infusion to produce the parts. someone mentioned using fibre volume fraction but i dont know how to calculate this. I do not know the density of the materials, only the mass. Is there a mass fraction? if yes, what value of mass fraction should i aim for. Also how much resin can i expect to get wasted, if I add somthing like 10% extra will that be enough?

An initial measurement of 50/50 works pretty well as that usually, well in my case anyways, accounts for wastage in tubes etc. as well.

The final dried ratio however varies, usually I believe down to 60% material, 40% resin. I think I read somewhere that some guys have managed to get it down to 70/30 ??
