hello again…
I got some questions regarding divinycell h80
1- 100% flat panel, is it better to infuse the top and bottom panels first and then lay them over the foam or infuse it in one shot? lay up is a 3k carbon layer and 2 layers of 10 oz glass on each side…
2- foam sheets that i have are slightly smaller than the panels that i am trying to make so should i glue the panels together or it is not necessary? (my guess is that it is necessary and can I use thickened epoxy to do that?
3- should the joint line be in the center or it is fine if it is off center?
Thank you

You can do both. If you are infusing all together, make sure you perforate the foam, and adjust the bottom laminate such that the permeability is slightly higher than on the topside. a good way is to groove the foam. The commercially available grooves are too large to my likings, but pressing in chicken wire seems to a good job.

There is no strict need to glue them, but keep in mind that too large a gap between 2 blocks of foam creates racetracking, potentially spoiling your infusion strategy. If you want to glue, you can use epoxy, PU or even PVC glue (the stuff for glueing waste water pipes). I would like the latter one, as it is less likely to see the joint line in the panel

The joint line can be anywhere.
