air dry or baked?

As far as I know there are 2 methods to making CF products one being applying the resin and then letting it air dry. The other using an oven to cure it. Which results in producing a stronger product for an application such as a hood of a car?

Baking it doesn’t necessarily make it stronger. Only if the specific resin you are using requires baking. Most people bake them to speed up cure time. It also helps the resin crosslink completely if the room temperature is too low.

well there are a lot of different ways to make composite parts. As far as making a hood, what do you want out of the hood. What is it going to be used for? Are you going to re-sell them and for how much? These are all factorsin choosing a manufacturing method
