I just got the sample kit from carb.com and since it from HI., the shipping may be timely and costly as I have a dealer or two myself (not composites) over there and it kills the pricing for them…

They ship from New York as well. I bought a roll from them and it came from New York

can i ask why these prices seem a little to low??!?!

so why isnt every1 buying from them? if this place is real, has anyone ordered?

Chelapa, you do realize that the prices listed are per FOOT and that you have to multiply them by 3 to get the price per yard right?

even still $28 a yard for 60" carbon seems like a hell of a price to me

I’ve only ordered carbon & fiberglass braid/sleeve. They shipped the same day. Haven’t had any problems. I’m a satisfied customer at this point.

They also sell on eBay under the name karmanrue. 100% positve feedback/277 transcations.

I am not affiliated with them in any way. I’m just a cheap bastard that looks for the lowest price given the fact i can’t buy full rolls of fabric.

recived carbon from carb.com there was a 15.00 cut fee but no shipping charges (from hi.)

what did they charge you per yard?

36.10 times 6yards 216.00

just recived a shipping bill from u.p.s. [b]50.00 not very happy with carb.com you were rite ggrop

Since I do my own shipping (both for my business and Ebay), I never argue over shipping costs as time and supplies is money…

With HI. it is all air mail or will take forever getting it.

My only shipping complaint is with Ebay buyers (ok, not most of them but the few ruin it for the many) as they want it shipped the next day after paying for the item but Ebay comes after my business, teaching, racing and a life (I ship only once per week). If they happened to pay the day or 2x after I shipped for that week, well, it may take another week before it goes out.

They want the shipping the cheapest as possible but don’t understand handling charges:

Time…it is the most costly thing! It takes time to properly package items (with the costs of the box, stuffing, tape etc…) to prevent damage or lost in transit.

Fees: Ebay charges % to post the auction, a final billing %, Paypal gets a % and then Paypal gets a % for shipping it via USPS or UPS so we don’t have to wait in a line at those places…UNLESS you are out of the USA and then we have to wait in line (usually 20 to 30 minute$), fill out other tariff forms (I try and save my bidder$ tariffs by listing them as samples, but I still get angree “out of the country” bidders on the time frame…not my fault) and the like…again, time is money! Ebay will not let us add those %'s but tell us sellers to add it in the handling charges or increase the starting price!

Anyone out there know how to go after an Ebay buyer that posted false negative facts on the feedback?

If hes got a few ratings you could (not the best solution but it does work) give him really bad feedback, then email him and offer a mutual feedback withdrawal(sp).
It takes the neg comment off but you are left (i think, its been a while) with a note on the feedback page saying comment withdrawn.

The only other thing i can think of is to ask on the ebay forum, when i used to go on ebay they were really helpful (that is the other sellers, Ebay staff and policies usually suck)

well lets see I can purchase from fiberglass supply with no cut fees and shipping costs have always been 15.00-20.00 thats a 40.00 higher cost from carb.com

Mikey, thanks for the lead, but I already gave him a great positive feedback.

any new source of 60" ?
