Winter build plans

Here in Michigan it’s gettin cooler, and heat is pricey in my garage/shop. Was thinkin about the old heating blanket thing again, for curing epoxy in the toy cat molds. Would i need to preheat before gel or after, and to what temp? Epoxy will be U.S. comp. stuff std. lam. resin. Any thoughts on this? Building a heat box would just take up too much space.

The rule of thumb is for every 10 degrees above 77 degrees your gel time halfs. If you want more work time, heat your parts after it gels, or, heat them when your done lamenating/infusing/bagging. So a heat blanket will work fine. Use your best judgement on the temp. Always demold the following day and youll be ok.
