ive got several molds which are virtually flat pieces and will be just cosmetic trims.
im wondering if it will work if i simply wet lay a single layer of carbon with gelcoat,let this all dry and then lay up 2 layers of glass with black resin and then pop out of the mold? sounds easy,im having no luck with vac bagging and these parts are very simple molds…

if your resins are all wet, the pigment may travel through to the surface!

you can do what all the compaines doing from overseas and just spray paint the back
