The question I have, is will Brake fluid eat through VER? If yes, what can be done to treat the part so it will n ot be affected by brake fluid?
To be completely honest…most of todays paint is tough and will withstand brake fluid. Ive literaly poured brake fluid on the bed of my truck to see how bad it would eat the paint…nothing happened.
Ive have brakes spray fluid (while bleeding) all over the front fender of a motorcycle and not seen any damage from it.
Id use the best clear you can afford and call it a day.
