Not sure if i’ve dreamt this, or actually seen it, i’m looking for a white fabric in 2x2 twill weave that will stay white after resin is applied in a laminate application, unlike woven FG.
I’ve got some silver shadow/aluweave, but require some thats white for a one off application, can anyone help? could i use a dye on FG?
Thanks
Put white pigment in your resin then just use woven fibre glass
If its silver, it’s called texalium. If its white, it’s just colored fiberglass. Google solar composites.com and give them a call. Ask for John. He runs the place. He’ll set yup :).
could be PET/plastic fabric as well. If only used in the first layer, the rest of the structure could be glass/carbon as needed. PET/plastic fabric will not have anywhere near the strength as glass, etc.
