Where to put my resin feed line on this mold. Help please

Where and what direction would you guys run the resin feed line on this mold to infuse carbon?

Thanks guys.

Here is more pictures of this mold.

Also pictures of the plug i made to make the mold.

The mold only has to make 1 part 1 time.

Its going to be a center console for an off road race car.

Thanks

Any advice?

The part is roughly 30" tall and 60" from side to side at its widest points.

Mainly I’m curious if I need to run more than 1 feed line and what directions to run them.

Im using the green infusion mesh and AdTech 820 resin with slow 824 hardener.

Im brand new to infusion.

Here are some more pictures as it sits right now with everything in place except the resin feed line(s) and the bag.

Can some one please chime in with some wisdom on how to run my spiral tubing for my resin lines?

Its roughly 25" down one side, 6" across and 25" back the other side. And 30" in the other direction.

Thank you. I have yet to successfully infuse a piece yet.

I would appreciate any input.

Thanks again.

I would run my feed line in the center towards the back opening in the last picture to a 4-5" past the hump. I wouldn’t use spiral tubing for feed though due to fear of imprint. I prefer Enka fusion. With the MTI hose this should work fine.

or just run the spiral tube in a pleat connected with glass to the part. I’ve done this when I don’t want to imprint. Just be sure to have release between the glass and the part so it doesn’t bond.

Thanks guys.

So can i run the spiral tube in a pleat above part and connect it with 2 plys of infusion mesh?

The part is 4 layers of 11oz 6k carbon.

I make a pleat above and along the entire length of the spiral while everything is dry. Once the part is completely wet out, I carefully push the spiral into the pleat and off of the part.
