where to buy Pour Foam in Europe?

I’m trying to build a guitar case. I was thinking of making a close shape box, pouring the foam, sinking a bit half way the guitar and hold it until the foam is ready. Do it on the other side and then I’d have a perfect fit. Next, I’d just do some laminating.

You will need to look in the overseas suppliers list.

You will also need to sheet wax or make the guitar larger to allow room for the fg / CF layers…

Just a thought, check out Instapak packages. If you’re casting a guitar to make a case, one of these just might save you having to mix and pour foam.

I’ve just had a look at this stuff. That’d be perfect, though it seems that they sell it just for professionals. So if I just want to do a single case, it’s not the best option. BUT, it’s given me a good idea (I hope!). The idea about “protecting” the foam instead of the part is great. Just like when you filled water ballons as a kid.

What sort of plastic do you guys think that I could use?

Werksberg: I’ve found some 2 components foam in a local shop, but it’s quite expensive (too expensive). So far the best option would be to get it from the UK.

I don’t know about your country, but here, there are “Shippers supply” type places that (probably) would sell them in small quantities. I know that otherwise, they sell in 100 ppiece lots, I researched them for a company I use to work for.

Maybe there’s a seller on eBay?

I tried to imitate the system and it was a complete failure. I don’t think there’s anything similar around here (Mallorca), so I’ll have a go at eBay.
