What's cracking - hello from Sydney Australia

Hay guys, decided to join up and introduce my self after reading many helpful threads that convinced me to take the first step into composites.

I’m from Sydney Australia and an absolute car nut. Love everything Motorsport so that would explain my obsession with carbon fibre. Never touched fibreglassing or composite work and unfortunately Sydney has next to no training courses :frowning: so its a little hard to learn.

Will be good to learn for the large amount of knowledge I have seen on here and some of the work you guys do is mind blowing.

Look forward to developing skills in composite fabrication.

Hey, another Aussie

What you making mate?

Hay Hanaldo.

I’m starting with skinning anything I can’t get hands on but not having the best results yet, just trying different things to see what works best for me.

I eventually will be building a civic drag car so anything that I can replace with carbon I will  got my self a weekend/track toy and sick of braking carbon splitters so thought its time to learn

What kinda gear have you made? Also how did you learn? We seem to be shocking in Sydney on training, every other state seems to have a training centre or composites or a composite dedicated course.

Alright another civic owner!! Welcome

Cheers mate, got a dc2 integra for circuit that I wanna do done Areo on to.
