What the pro's wear

I’m getting into more and more fiberglass trim and sanding work… ugh. I don’t work in an air conditioned shop so i do perspire and thus glass fiber sticks better to skin.

Also can someone recomend a small shop air filter system that filters all the shop air and collects dust particles?

I use an air fed hood, with coalescing filters running off my compressor. It is surprising how much cooler you feel just by keeping your head cool. Even when your body is perspiring. None of the problems with a mask and safety glasses combination, and no sweat running down your face. I am assuming you are already using disposable overalls.

Second on the air hood. The welders at my old job used these 1000 dollar welding hoods that had forced air through the helmet. Aside from it’s primary purpose of keeping the fumes out, it kept their head cool which made them more comfortable!

I will have to look into a forced air set up, thank you
