What does the peak temperature stand for in DSC method?

:stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: I’m studying on epoxy resin-curing system. I want to know what’s the best temperature for high performance composites and what the peak temperature stands for in DSC method. Thank you !

What’s DSC again? I can look it up but I’m too lazy.

:stuck_out_tongue: DSC=Differential Scanning Calorimetry :stuck_out_tongue:

lol now I’m even more confused. Let me see if I can find that out for you.

Ok well I guess the peak temperature here is referring to the melting point in which the polymer crystalizes. What that temperature might be will depend on the particular piece of polymer that you are testing. Not all polymers can crystalize so that’s something you’d have to figure out.

Oh.But not yet. It’s a polymer-forming process(monomer to polymer), not a simple typical phase-transition process. Thank you for your hard work!Best regards!
