so I’m sanding away at a piece trying to get it nice and smooth so I can clear and be done with it… and apparently there are some spots where air bubbles got caught in the resin… now this is all fine and dandy until I sand off the top of them and fill them with resin dust from sanding… any advice on how to get this resin dust out of here?
acitone and a air blower!!!
Yeah Saxman…what he said !
The best way is to blast air “AT” the pits while they are wet with water or as you solvent wipe, just be sure and chase it out while the “air bubble” has moisture to carry it out when blasted. And blast air continuously as you wipe ! (sounds   abit strange ! lol )
If they are real deep or bad, stab with a toothbrush or you may want to sand them out abit, then drip activated clear resin into the area, then later block sand before you do the overall refinish.

A toothbrush is a good idea. I have one of those “Crest” battery operated kind with the moving head bristles…that thing works great for cleaning out the clogged up sanding dust (yes it is a deticated toothbrush, I do not use it on my teeth  ).
Also, I have found that WHEN I DO get buildup in any pinholes I just take it outside and blast it with the garden hose set to STREAM! Before the residue dries of course.
I reluctantly got a hood from VIS and wax gets in the small pinholes and I have to blast it out this way with a hose.
