Good to know about MEKP and the eyeballs. I’ll remember to wear gogles or safety glases when working with this stuff.

yes…mekp is the devil for the eye…DO NOT GET ANY IN YOUR EYE OR YOUR PRETTY MUCH GARUNTEED TO BE BLIND!

seriously guys, dont fook with with your eyes, but boy is alcohol a great painkiller  PUT YOUR GLASSSES ON!!!

Yeah, you only got one set of eyes! That being said, I’ve had a metal splinter removed from my cornea, as well as accidentally had fuel sprayed into my eyes (testing out injectors with the fuel rail pointing up). Oh can’t forget the laquer thinner spraying back at me when cleaning an HVLP gun…I shoulda been blind a long time ago:rolleyes:

:o …while trying to drill out a plugged chopper gun resin nozzle without safety glasses as sweat was running down my forhead into my eye…but I forgot the gun was under pressure and I could see the 2x twised streams of pressurized PER heading for my 2 eyes…then the stinging sensation.

:frowning: I had to have a student lead me over to the eye wash sink to flush them for more than 15 minutes before I could see again…

Lucky at the time I had an aide.

Safety eye glass AAA…
