Wax for internal mandrel

I’m looking for a pourable wax or low temp plastic that I can use for an internal mandrel.

I’ll pour it in a mold, lay my reinforcement over it and melt it out.

It needs to melt out at a semi low temp and also has to be able to have low reside so I can bond to the surface later.

There are a lot of specialty waxes out there (jewelry, casting, machinable)…which is the correct one for composites?

I tried to search…I hope this isn’t a repeat question.

Aquacore coated with their sealant. Dissolves with cool water, works great.
We use it for a lot of aerospace ducting. Make the shape, seal the porous surface, and lay up.

I originally was very interested in Aquacore.

But have since lost interest for a few reasons:

1 - They have been bought and the webpage has no mention anymore
of Aquacore.

2 - I’ve heard that people have had bad expriences with it.

3 - When I talked to the aquacore sales rep even he said it was a pain to work with and that results are inconsistent (difficult to get the mousture out of the mixture).

That is why I started thinking about other methods. Aquacore does seem perfect…actually the ideal solution for my problem. Maybe I should reconsider it.
