Warped mold

OOPs,
I have a two piece mold I made. Eveidently I rushed taking it apart . Now a couple months go by and Im ready to use the mold.
Its warped.
I can bolt each half down to a flat surface and it gets straight.

My question is if I bolt it down to straighten it and then lay up some more materialand let it sit a week . Could this fix it.

Its not a real bad warp.

Or would it work if I just layed up both sides, and bolt them together to straighten them with some release material at the joint before they cure. I need two halves ( not together) .
Thanks , Terry

Post up a photo for us to see the mold.

I had my race car (been parked a couple of years now…) 1 piece front end mold resting upwards and recently I moved it to lay it down…not that is one warp mold now!

Thank god I don’t need parts from it but it wouldn’t matter ad the parts are so thin and flexible…

I’ll take a photo and post maybe sometime later this week…

I went ahead and layed up the parts in the warped mold. I layed some plastic in at the seam (Didnt want the two halves to fuse together) and bolted both halves together while still green. This straightened the mold. Once they cured I popped the parts out and they were in good shape.

Cool! Good to hear that!
