does anyone knows where to buy a vacuum pressure switch to europe i find this one http://www.veneersupplies.com/products/Vacuum-Pressure-Controller-18-NPT.html but they dont send to europe.
If you’d like I can act as a proxy, so whatever company can ship your item to my house and then I’ll ship it to you.
Very nice switch. I am tempted to buy one as well, just to see where they come from. I also asked a (European) supplier if he knew where these would come from. Keep you posted.
the price is absolutely a bargain.
here you go

That is what is on the switch, or are they manufacturers? I must admit my Greek is a bit rusty.
Anyone that already has experience with these switches? I cannot source them in Europe for now.
If someone has one of these, can he check who is the manufacturer?
OK, I bought one, and got it shipped.
Pro:
Cheaper than the unit I am buying here, even when shipping a single one from USA.
Con:
Same principle of operation, which leaves a lot to be desired. (5" hysterese is WAY too much)
No control over hysterese (I thought this was the case, after reading the info on the veneer website)
Plastic, rather weak casing.
Electrics not isolated. I am running 220 volts through them!
Hi Herman,
try here:
They also have a digital control for € 225.- A few days ago they had a digital controler for about € 114.- but it’s not listed anymore.
Cheers
DB
WOW, these guys are expensive… The digital control they list (SMC brand) I bought a year or 2 ago for some 100 euro instead of 225 euro…
The whole problem is that a Danfoss RT 121 switch will still be cheaper at 170 euro.
Even with the digital switch you need so much periferal equipment (power supply, fuse box, relais with mount and spare relais) that it becomes more expensive than a simple RT121.
What I am looking for is a cheaper version of a Danfoss RT 121 switch. (mechanical). Either with a tight hysterese, or an adjustable hysterese. (and of course an adjustable switch level)
These look very cheap. He has wrongly described them as pressure switches.
I use one myself and very good they are too.
I have one of these, just ordered the peripheral equipment needed to run them. They seem to be good, but if you count the stuff needed to get them working, the Danfoss RT121 is still about as good (pricewise).
If you can get these ZSE-30 units cheap, they are OK.
This is a old thread, but I have a vacuum switch that works similar to a conventional water/air (pump/compressor)switch. http://www.mcmaster.com/#vacuum-switches/=ayqtnf (bottom of page)
Shipping to the US is normally really quick (next day for me). You would have to contact them (email) for shipping to other locations.
McMaster-Carr also has LOTS of cool(hard to find)stuff in stock.
If the deactuation pressure is the hysterese, then only the first would be suitable. The others make the vacuum fluctuate too much to my liking. (1" Hg)
