Vacuum Infusion Qs -|- Layer Order - Nida-Core

Hello all - I have a few questions on layer order.

  1. I have some NidaCore that I want to use to make a bench out of. The core is 3/4". What is the order of layers for infusion? I guess the problem I’m having - how does the resign get to the bottom of the mold seeing how it can’t go through the NidaCore. Do I put flow media on both sides - I assume no.

  2. I’m also making a t-top for my boat and would like your advice on which resign to use in the coring / layup process? I have a Duratec Sunshield Topcoat. And right now I’m using West 105 / 207.

Thanks all - !_steve

PS… my first infusion was done last night. Totally jacked up my part… learning…

secondary bond the nidacore, or wet lay everything together and bag in one go.

it would definitely help if you tell us which nidacore you are using … based on my quick search online they make cores with
