Can someone suggest me to purchase a basic vacuum gauge to be used with my vacuum pump.
I know, it’s better to spend more money, but I don’t have enough for an expensive one right now. On Amazon they sell them starting at $9.95
Could someone link me to a vacuum gauge in the sub $30 range? (Preferably Amazon) Thank you!
For general indication the cheap ones are just as good as the more expensive ones. Difference usually is the material of the casing (plastic, metal, or stainless)
If you have the choice, buy one that measures absolute pressure, not relative pressure. I must admit that I still have to dive into that field, but I have a few gauges that I suspect are absolute pressure.
Difference is that the absolute pressure gauge measures against a chamber which has (almost) perfect vacuum. The relative ones measure against ambient.
