I’ve been thinking about trying some prepreg the only thing is I don’t have access to an autoclave. Will prepeg work in an small oven with just vacuum bag?
I’ve been doing infusion but prepreg looks so much easier.
Does it always give a perfect surface?
Yup you can get prepreg that doesn’t need a clave cure, it’s called OOA (out of autoclave) prepreg. The surface finish is dependent on many factors just like it is with infusion. Once you know how to process it correctly achieving a class A finish is not a problem. I think a bigger issue might be finding the source for small qty at good price…
