As long as your not planning to run an air sander or die grinder, etc the compressor will be fine.

Get a proper regulator with gauge and water-trap, also drain the compressor EVERY time before you spray. Water + clear no good

All up, looks like good value for money to me.
Have fun.

Yep good ol ebay. I`ve got 2 cheap HVLP guns and one super dooper digital HVLP Sata gun. I use 1 of the cheap guns for primers and the other for the Duratec, the Sata is for any clear topcoats. My compressor is 200 litre tank and 13.5cfm. so what your going for will be fine. As Jake says get the other gear as well. My compressor was £165 off ebay and i can run my other air tools from it allbeit from another regulator, oiler and water trap.

Save your ears and the neighbors and get a oil type air compressor. Those oiless ones are LOUD!

thanks,a quiet one would be much better  this one better then? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Air-compressor-2hp-x-2outlets-air-kit-7-6cfm-8bar_W0QQitemZ180032598897

Hmmm…oil lubed direct drive? It looks like an oiless to me but I can’t say 100%.

Best is to drive to a shop selling many models and see for yourself on the noise factor.
