Soon I will make my first by piece carbon fiber / foam(infusion), I’ve been reading and I’ve read that carbon when is loaded in compression, show properties very different that loading in tension. Tensile strength compared with compressive strength can be half , module however does not seem to change much. Then, if I know which side will be compressed:
Should I apply more layers over skin that is compressed for better weight / resistance?
