Um...PEI AS-4 anyone???

So let’s say I have this wonderful 20pound roll of AS-4 unidirectional pre-preg tape.

Anyone want to play with some?

Disclaimer: It’s polyetherimide.

I’d give it a try. Need to make some strong tubes. Is it epoxy compatible?

i’d like to try some. are there instructions with it?

Does it require a heated press to mold?

KnottyBuoyz, no it isn’t. It’s a thermoplastic pre-preg. It’s like a stiff plastic sheet. (well, obviously only in the fiber direction)

Everyone else. Yes, i would include some plastic instructions, and yes it needs heat of some sort.
Around 600-650f. (315c+) Sorry, no kitchen oven this time
