Hi guys, i just completed making a 2 part mold and i’m ready to infuse. i have tried to seal the joint with silicone but there’s still a small like which runs along where the two parts join so what i needed to know is will this have a noticeable effect the 2x2 twill, will this line be imprinted on the laminate? how do you guys normally tackle this or can be taken care of when prepping the finished part for clear coating

wax your bolts/fasteners then envelope bag whole mold. you will not notice seam in twill unless there is some mismatch between the two mold halfs.
If you have a leak then it could be a problem for the infusion??? Ideally you should be able to hold near full vacuum for 5 min with a drop test and that should be ok. If the vacuum drops within a minute then you should chase it up and plug it.
I have recently built some large infused parts (35kg resin) from a 4 part split mould, this had a gel coat and light CSM skin coat to ensure a seal at the flange joins plus I simply taped across the joins at the flanges to meet the bag tape where there was no gel coat.
You could also consider taping across all the full joins if this moulded tape line would be acceptable in the finished part?
Is the part hollow or open structure?
