T700 19.8oz questions

Does anybody here have any experience making cosmetic parts with the 19.8oz 2x2 T700 fabric? I’m trying to buy a roll of t700 from another company so we can make some cosmetic flat panels through vacuum infusion but I’m curious if the weave flattens out under vacuum. Off the roll it has some gaps between the yarns and that could be an issue since I have to make double sides carbon panels with 2mm foam core in between. I wouldn’t want to see the foam core between the fabric.

I tried using the search feature but on my phone it won’t work…

no experience in it, but i have seen the fabric and the gaps are pretty big … in my experience which is not much, i dont find that vacuum pulls the fibers flat, but rather pushes them together but still leaves the gaps.
a wet laminate with a roller flattens the weave out and closes the gaps

Really heavy and open weave fabric for cosmetic application. Would go with something lighter and tighter.
