interesting… i think if the foam longerons where either reinforced or where replaced with skinnier carbon H beam rails the board would be way stronger. especially if they tuned the fabric to flex on the longitudal axis it would lessen the rigidity a bit but likewise still be super strong. im not much of a surfer but would it help certain riders that are goofy or standard to have a board that will either resist flexing when carving frontside or vice versa. depending on the way the carbon is laid a board would flex on the right rail but not the left making a board only good for a certain stance. ive heard of snowboards being designed like that.cool
