Can anyone recommend a good epoxy surface coat that they have been satisfied with?
Preferrably room temp cure, 90 + hardness, not a paste / thixotropic.

Any reason to not use a PE surface coat? Do you need clear or colored? More info please :).
It’s a cast epoxy mold.
We’ve been using Adtech ES 218 for about a year and have been pleased with it.
I’ve been looking at the adtech systems.
If your plug was glossy. Did this resin copy this and produce an as glossy mold surface?
How resilient is it? If you put pressure on the surface would it easily dimple?
Yes my mold is glossy and the parts come out this way. The 218 surface coat is sandable but it is a hard surface on the mold.
Ues the PCR-1902 S. C . Epoxy
I have used most resin systems, there is so many types all for different applications ie, infusion, bonding laminating I have found for flow coating sp115 has been very suitable, very good uv properties,it only has one harderner speed,so u need to be aware off working time, which is 10 min, working time based on 15 to 20 Celsius, but this epoxy would be no good for infusion due to working times.
I’ve used ES-221 for PFP and epoxy backed molds. I recently built a mold using MGS 285 laminating resin + 27% West Systems 404 filler + 9% Graphite powder by weight. It’s a two piece mold that has now undergone 75 cycles without a single chip on the seaming corners.
I ordered and still running a few initial tests with adtech es-204.
With the couple tests I ran I may of let it cure to far. It pulled from the pattern surface of a very highly polished pattern treated with a high slip semi perm release.
