Anyone know if I can shoot sun shield by Duratec on top of cured Sun shield and get a good bond? I’m trying to put graphics on and coat over them.
Yes, you just need to scuff the surface with 180 grit.
Hhhhhmmmm I’m wanting to put screen print down then shoot it over it so the screen print is embedded. So I would have to sand before the screen print. Would you see any of the scratches?
Nup, the Sunshield fills scratches exceptionally well.
Best thing would be to do a small test. No telling if you are gonna shoot over the screen print and then find the Duratec doesn’t stick where the screen print is. It isn’t cheap so would be a shame to waste it and mess your part.
Ya I might just do a laquer or clear coat instead.
