Sticky Stuff Dispenser

I am thing about purchasing a sticky stuff dispenser. Do you have any experience with these metering pumps? Would you recommend them? Are they precise enough?

I used one in 1993 or so. Used with West System epoxy. Were slow to operate, when larger amounts are needed (weighing is much faster). Every stroke had a black deposit in it, from some aluminium part wearing down.

They had some 20 years to develop the thing further, though…

We use one at work as some of the guys couldn’t work 4:1 pumps, they can’t count to the same number of pumps twice, so the dispenser is pretty fool proof. But as Herman said they are slow when mixing large amounts.

Thanks Herman. You always have a plan B. Will ask the price.

Don’t think you like the price. Very sturdy German engineering however. Lots of steel, lots of stainless steel, very high quality pumps.

Runs for over 1000 dollar though. But it probably is the last one you buy.

1902 euros , need to look for a diy plan
