Sprayble Gel Coats

Werksberg has said on this forum that spraying epoxy is toxic so if I buy an epoxy clear coat do I have to brush it on?

Most of the people here in this forum they are brushed.
Me too ether, just only be careful when you brushed not create gel coat lines. But just for your safety wear always whatever you do, mask.

Is there actually a clear epoxy surface coat? Or you’re using ordinary laminating epoxy resin?Last time I tried it it wouldn’t stay on vertical surfaces.

I haven’t done anything yet. The question was bugging me so I decided to post it

Resin services has a clear epoxy that can be used as a surface coat the say.
Htr212 with their compatible clear hardener. Brush on with a foam brush then I believe you can imediately do you lay up. I think that’s how it works. You will still have to clear paint the finished part. Also polymer products on ebay makes a thick epoxy surface coat but only in colors.

Will any thixotropic agents help the epoxy to become thicker without ruining it’s clearness?
