something for the wife

I was in the garage making some small moulds for brackets for the underside of my cargo cover when my wife came in with a cup of tea for me, very nice she said, looking good, whats it for, i cant see what you see in that stuff, why don`t you make me something. So i did, chuffed to bits (english expression happy, made up, etc) she was now she wants a carbon choker

$23 incredible I could make a fortune, make a metre long bracelet chop it up 25mm wide polish em up thats 40 x $23 = $920 cheap and easy to make I only made 1 for Clare in between waiting for resin to gel

not bad,£500 for some scraps

yes, exactly scraps offcuts amazing. To think the amount of work and materials that go into producing a hood and because of the competion the prices are so cheap it`s hardly worth doing, smaller parts yes i can see a profit if you specialise. Now bracelets and the like especially if they caught on well gets you thinking. I should think i spent no more than half an hour making that bracelet and the carbon was from my scraps bin.

I`m going to make Clare a choker tomorrow i think well in between my car bits
