Some toyota starlet stuff

hey guys, long time no see (or update). Been out of a job for the last 4 months so i had to rely on some part to composites to get by, so i spent every day in the garage making stuff. Most parts you’ll see are for customers, some are mine. Now i got a job and i got no time left for composites (thank god, i was getting tired of being covered in fiberglass and dust every day). So, here goes…

some gauge pods for round and digital gauges

a carbon - carbon/kevlar bonnet for Starlet GT (clear coated but unpolished)

a friend’s starlet GT (carbon front spoiler, fiberglass+ epoxy sideskirts and rear spats)

a tom’s bumper i made for my starlet GT, made out of spare fabrics, carbon, kevlar and carbon kevlar, and behind all that, fiberglass mat. made with polyester resin cause i had no money… still very light and strong.

^it was clearcoated but unpolished in this photo. i spray the parts myself in the garage, so they get some dust and bugs, and i gotta sand them and polish them afterwards.

made a set of rear spats for my bumper too, installed and blended them with the bumper.

being on a budget, i made a bonnet out of polyester and CSM… 40 bucks of materials make you a bonnet! yeah.

this is a project i was working on for months. Toms adjustable rear wing, all in carbon. it didnt come out perfect, but it will do.

and this is how the car’s ass looks.

soon it will go to the paintshop to be sprayed anthracite grey, like the painted parts you see.

cheers everyone, thanks for watching.

Not bad at all, good job

thanks george!
