Hi all!
I am going to start messing around with infusion and would like some input/advice on how to go about it.
Here are the two molds I am working with:
I dont have any really stellar pictures so hopefully this will give you an idea.
Obviously this was before trimming and finishing but it should give you the basic info.
Here is a shot of a bad part pulled from that mold to give you another view
For this part I was simply going to mount it to a flat non-porous surface however the bottom of the mold is not flat so there would be areas that I would need to fill as well as the large angle area in the back. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this? Specifically which product to use as the filler? Obviously it would need to survive epoxy as well as not be crushed by vacuum.
Thoughts?
The other mold becomes more challenging because it is a two part mold.
How could I go about using this mold for infusion?
