Solidworks V6

Wondered if anyone has heard anything else about this new CAD system from Dassault. From what I have been told it’s possible it will run on a virtual machine and cloud so you can use it anywhere on any machine or operating system, possibly even on your Ipad. If it uses the CGM (Convergence Geometric Modeler) kernal and not Parasolid modeling kernel it should be more compatible with Catia.

Is the future of CAD about to arrive? The power of Catia, user interface of SW, and the ability to use it anywhere on any machine?

The Ipad has no native mouse support, so I would choose another tablet.

A lot of programs go “in the cloud”. Cad programs are no exception.
