So I have a part I would like to salvage…..

What are some quick and easy ways to fill those small little surface holes so I can give it a couple shots of clear and have it turn out OK?

Anyone have some clever ideas or advice from experience to fill those little devils?

The part is not too big and it wouldn’t take a horrible amount of time to fill them all individually, but I figured I would ask around and see if I could sift out some clever tricks as I haven’t been reading the forums much over the past year.

i would be interested in what everyone has to say. Personally I would just sand it down to the carbon and clear

Well, without thinning your resin matrix (epoxy or PER?) and using like an eye dropper or syringe to inject the holes…

Have you tried to spray thinned clear coat on the part to fill the holes first? If there still is holes / bubbles, while it is still wet use a hot heat gun (or propane torch carefully) to heat and thin the clear coat to flow into the holes…?

Please show (photos) us your progress on this…
