Hoping to get re-funked!
I have a bunch of old molds made back in the 1970s, quite heavily built, but nice gelcoat intact on most. I hope to do some pieces in carbon as well.
This seems like a great place to learn and I hope to expand soon to even more products, I love vw bugs!
Welcome to the forums! You should talk to Werksberg on these forums. He is quite skilled in making Volkswagen parts and improving on OEM designs!
welcome along… quite a way to get into composites… jumping in at the deep end buying a company! what composites have you done before?
Welcome to the forum. I’m sure you will find plenty of useful information.
I am glad to have Werksberg as a friend, he has helped answer a lot of my questions and really is generous with his knowledge. The nice thing about composites is that you can experiment with new materials and resins -thats what I plan to be doing all winter long. I will be torture testing some new ideas for my baja kits, will post some results soon!
