SMC vacuum switches

I have had problems to solve how to operate my vacuum pump with SMC vacuum switch. Any shop that sells those seems to not know what kind of output signal those switches give. I even gave SMC a call, but they neither didn’t know. On SMC data sheets there is wiring diagrams, but they use unfamiliar drawing signs to me.

So does anyone know if these switches give the same voltage out as operation signal than the power supply that runs the switch?
Like 12Vdc switch can operate 12V relay, and 24Vdc switch can operate 24V relay?

From the top of my head, indeed the SMC produces the same output as input.

I have one that feeds on 24V, and my relais is also 24V.

Make sure the switchpoint is set at -500 hpa, and not +500 hpa. (that is the mistake I made…)

I am downloading the TDS now, to check things for you.

This is the one I have. Feeds on 12 or 24v, and the relais should be the same. Make sure you have all settings right. I do not have mine here, but set it to hysteresis, npn, and get the wiring right. That should do the trick.

Thanks!

Have to order one used switch now. Those comes out used pretty good price every now and then.
