Small isotruss pipes - how construct?

Hello

Looking for some thoughts on best way to make carbon fiber isotruss

Along the lines of the below link - but on a smaller scale

Had thoughts to explore using methods similar to these to create the pipes :

But raises few questions :

What tape is being used in each? Each seems to be prepregnated, with the first being a very then roll, and the second a wider tape cut, folded, and twisted.

Alternatively could a isotruss be reasonably constructed by wrapping carbon fiber filament (ie the wire used in 3D printing machines ) around a frame?

Please note the hobby construction I looking at will have reasonably high weight / glitches on it. Tube will be quite small

Any other thoughts best way to explore ?
