Does anyone have any idea what type of silicone rubber sheeting I should be looking for? and if possible any suppliers in the UK?
No idea, but look for gasket manufacturers. (I must admit that this is simple over here, with the largest chemical industry plot in europe around the corner.
Vacuum Laminating Technologies (www.vacuum-press.com) lists it as a .085" thick 40A durometer translucent silicone. Material is called SRT40 and has an 1100% elongation. I am planning to do the same thing, but just gonna use stretchlon mastic taped to the frame for the time being.
