Silicon release agents

In some catalogues I’ve read about silicone or non-silicone release agents, but never met an explaination about it´s diference, WHEN should each of them be used or not.

May anybody explain ? Thanks in advance.

Hi zongo

I’ve used TR waxes.
There regular 102 is for normal application and there high temp 104 is for post cured application or heated. I think it’s good for 120’C and most waxes for high temp contain silicon and other synthetic additives to ensure good release.
Google TR waxes and you will find plenty if info

I wish I knew, but the only thing I’ve been told is that silicone releases sometimes attaches to the part, causing delaminations for secondary bonding, along with infusing itself into the part, causing internal delams.
Whether or not that is true, I am not sure, or in what case it happens.

Thanks. I´ve visited TR´s site but thy are working on it and there’s no info at all.
I´ve emailed. Let´s see.
