Whats the best way to setup a machine like a robinair so it doesnt run all the time. i saw it once but cant find it. i have it setup on my vanturi system BUT robin air… hmm…
ok so it needs to shutoff the pump when it reachs a certain amount of hg about 26-30. im not the best with electric anyone else?
Have a gander at this article from Joewoodworker. It’s for a vacuum veneer press but the principal is the same. It contains a description of all the parts required plus wiring.

Man I know what youre talking about and its basicaly a vacuum switch.
Grainger should have them all day long. Its the complete opposite of a pressure switch and you can buy adjustables or pre set ones.
Should be easily had and I wish I could help you more. I could really use one of them myself.
i would hate for the pump im getting to mess up b/c of this ya know?
i have the same setup with my venturi system. it shuts off at 26-27" of hg. its great and i dont have to leave my 80 gal compressor on. just let it fill up and if i dont have leaks its fine! =)
