I have a part I want use as a plug for building a mold. The part has been modified and is currently in primer. What might be the best to seal this primer prior to starting?
What primer, and what molding material will you use?
SEM high build with polyester
I am content with a 2K PU paint, which is left to cure for at least 7 days, in order to obtain sufficient styrene resistance (when in doubt, check or test). After 7 days, the PU can be buffed, waxed, and a mould made.
