Yesterday an explosion at Scaled Composites killed three employees and injured three more. They were testing the fuel system for Spaceship Two when the explosion occurred. Sad news in the composites industry. I feel bad for the famlies.

That news was dwarfed here locally when two television news helicopters collided in mid air killing all on board both aircraft - 4 people total, then later that evening a Phoenix police officer was killed by some two bit thug. Was a bad day in Phoenix too.
