rotary tool vs oscillating tool

I currently using rotary tool such as dremel, but I’ve been thinking to try oscillating tool such as multimaster or sonicrafter, anyone who had tried both like one over another? and why?

For wood working those are great, but when you need to remove material, nothing beats and air tool/dremel/router.

JRL… a router? what type?

I’m looking for “new” ways to trim parts.

perhaps this site can have a sticky on various tools or methods of trimming composite parts?

I use abrasives to trim parts. A rotary tool is better than a reciprocating tool in most cases. Rotary does not have the same risk of causing delamination.
If you do use a Dremel or other electric tool, remember to blow the tool out with compressed air when done. The carbon dust will eat the tool alive otherwise.
