Rig IT

I’ve seen all these different videos of people using a wooden paddle stir stick and some clamp or clips to hold their resin line to the resin cup. Keeping the tube down to the bottom of the resin cup. Well i ran out of wooden stir sticks so i just tapped the polyethelene resin hose to the inside of the cup LOL  I’m getting away with it this first time because i only need 8 oz of resin.

What do you guys use to hold the resin line down inside the cup or bucket?

I got a couple of tricks. One is to use some gorilla snot to stick the resin line to the bottom of the cup before I pour the resin into it. Also works to hold the resin line near the lip of the cup. I also use a spring clip on larger cups.

I use a round plastic rod to mix the resin. It seems to put fewer bubbles in the resin. Square or rectangular wood just seems to whip a lot of air into the mix.

We use large plastic clamps to hold the resin container in the water bucket, and then another to hold the line in the whole thing. Just need to clip the tube at an angle or two to prevent it from sucking to the resin bucket and stopping the inflow!
The resin line clamps are not flat jawed, so the tube kinnda goes IN the clamp area. So the tube doesn’t get closed off.
I think glueing or taping is too much work, or messy IMO
