What’s the best type of resin to use with carbon fiber and Hardener, and the best ratio. Which doesn’t take long to harden. Thanks
that kind of depends on what your part to do. flexible? stiff? UV resistant obviously… handlayup, infusion, bagging. there’s alot of different options for various methods. give us a little more info on your both your current and intended operation and construction and desired results.
Items that are stiff and need to be UV protected. I just overlaid for right now will get into molds soon.
well the UV you can marine clear gel. If you are open molding with strand mat behind the carbom you would need a polester or vinylester resin. I use vinylesyester for just about everything now
