Again, hey all! For this tank project, I think Im going to use VE resin and to gain practice Ill use it for the mold as well. Problem is I keep seeing resin shrinkage from the manufacturers MDS sheets from 5-10%?? How is this shrinkage measured? If I make the mold from an existing fuel tank will it shrink in thickness only? Or along the X and Y axis along the cloth? Once I pull it off the plug will it be that 5-10% smaller/shorter? The final tank thickness will probably be in the 1/8" range.
